How do we live faithfully in a superficial world? How do we attend to our inner lives in a culture that focuses only on what is external?
We continued our series BOld Testament this Sunday by looking at the early part of King David's story in 1 Samuel 16:1-13. David is not the kind of person that the prophet Samuel expected to become a King - but then, God often chooses the people we would least expect. As followers of Jesus, we are called to different values than the world around us.
Bottom line: The Eternal values the internal.
