In part three of the Convergence series we celebrated the gift of the Holy Spirit both in Scripture and in the life of the church. We read and explored the story of Pentecost in Acts 2, when the Holy Spirit is poured out on the early Christians in Jerusalem. We also looked at the the modern day Pentecostal/Charismatic stream of spirituality which has contributed much to the renewal and revival of Christian witness around the world, beginning with the Azusa Street movement of the early 20th century.
