This Sunday we looked at the source and importance of wisdom, exploring Proverbs 1:20-23. We talked about the origin of wisdom and the power of wisdom by looking to the example of Yoda in the Star Wars universe. Yoda exemplifies both the humility of wisdom, and the unexpected source of it. Ultimately, wisdom comes from God, and in the cross God used what the world thought was foolish and shameful to bring redemption to the world.
If wisdom is your destination, pride is poor transportation.
