The prayer of Psalm 139 is one of the most beautiful and intimate descriptions of God and His relationship to His people that can be found in all of scripture. As we are reminded, through this prayer, exactly how God sees His people – and the depths of which He loves us – it becomes much more frivolous to seek identity and worth through any other means.
