Description

Luke 11:1;  Matthew 6:9-13

How comfortable are you praying?  In private?  In public?

- Definition of Prayer:  Prayer is communication between God our heavenly Father with one or more of His children.
All communication involves both talking and listening.

- "It happened that while Jesus was praying in a certain place, after He had finished, one of His disciples said to Him,
Lord, teach us to pray just as John also taught His disciples.  Luke 11:1

- Pray then in this way:  Matthew 6:9-13

- Our Heavenly Father is a Personal God.  "Our Father who is in heaven"

- Our Heavenly Father is a Praiseworthy God.  "Hallowed be Your name."

- Our Heavenly Father is a Purposeful God.  "Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."

- Our Heavenly Father is a Providing God.  "Give us this day our daily bread."

- Our Heavenly Father is a Pardoning God.  "And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors."

- Our Heavenly Father is a Protecting God.  "And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil."

- Our Heavenly Father is the ALL Powerful God.  "For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.  Amen."

- I challenge you to join me in praying this prayer every day for the month of September.  30 day prayer challenge.
