in 2011 loubna mrie and her friends took to the streets of syria hoping for change in stead they were met by bullets. friends were killed and other fled. loubna kept reporting, reentering syria again and again to document with her camera - until it became too dangerous. she lost her friends, her mother and the innocence. today from brooklyn she still hopes to return to another syria - one day
