This edition of Hear and Now features the participating artists of the September 2018 installment of the Microsessions project, otherwise known as "speed dating for music enthusiasts". Developed by Paul Schomer in Austin, Microsessions gives audience members the opportunity to have multiple new musical experiences in one evening. Paul, along with Ryan Egan, Kwame Brandt-Pierce, Christina Cavazos, and members of Bethlehem Steel appear on the show to discuss the evolution of Microsessions and how they came to be a part of the project. Each participant provides a live on air musical performance similar to what one experiences during the Microsessions event, for a truly unique live performance experience.
