Cush
[Dalian | China]
Cush (Vladislav Skylar) is a DJ and electronic music producer of Russian origin. He was born in Vladivostok, in 2011 moved to Dalian City, China. When he just moved there, there was almost no electronic music culture. In 2012 he with his small team founded Honeymode label, which a couple of years later became the biggest label in Dalian city and in 2015 got the “Best Community Award” at “Dalian Expat Awards”. The main idea was to promote electronic music culture. He is an avid fan of Liquid Funk / Neurofunk / Techstep himself, so he was pushing on promoting DnB music. In 2016 there was one more label founded called Revision. So now he is a part of two biggest music/party labels in Dalian city.
Since childhood he was a big fan of rock music, that’s why he became an avid fan of Drum & Bass. In 2009 stayed in UK, London for couple of month and every day was surrounded by DnB culture, underground clubs, raves and of course the feel of breakbeat. This was the time when he realised that Drum and Bass is THE style.
At the moment he is living in China and developing DnB culture.
