On an early morning of the late 90’s in a dark warehouse, Cassandria Daiva was born from theillegitimate union of house grooves and techno riffs...Many years later, she embarked on a quest to preserve her bastard family heritage, now in peril
due to the rise of the EDM empire and the commoditization of music.Equipped only with family relics of old – SL1200’s turntables, a rotary mixer and a decrepitanalog tube compressor – she battles against mainstream currents and the armies of General Mediocrity to preserve the lost art of DJing and the genuine sound of the underground.Since then, she’s established herself as a serious, dedicated underground artist and had theopportunity to share the decks with, or open for, high profile artists such as John Acquaviva,Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Projekt 46, Abel Ramos, Prok & Fitch, The Cube Guys, David Penn, ATFC, Mark Farina, and so many more...Cassandria is also a prolific music producer and remixer. With her experience behind the decks, this progression came naturally and her artistic persona gave birth to many releases and exciting remixes on various imprints worldwide. In 2012, this lady’s astonishing skills landed her aprestigious spot as “DJ Mag Caribe Global Resident”, representing the international world- renowned brand in Dominican Republic, on neighbouring Caribbean islands and abroad. In 2014, she went on to launch Vibeline, her own vinyl imprint, with the aim to create a dynamictangible platform for established and emerging artists. Taking input from her coach and mentor, old timer and industry veteran Mike Monday, Cassandria continues to work on her music and career development while concentrating on and taking inspiration from her passion for vinyl records as a medium.
