It's been a good while since I last uploaded a contemporary Jazz mix and all this while I have continued to listen to and collect Nu Jazz albums and tracks, so I thought it time to return to the essence of what drives me and that is sharing Jazz music in al it's colors and varities with you.
Before we begin though I want to say a huge thank you to all of you who have tuned in and supported my most recent Jazzy Hip Hop and Live Funk Mixes.
For this session I have chosen tracks that have come out over the past couple of years with some as recent as last month. There is something for all Jazz lovers in this mix, with some recognised artists such as Takuya Kuroda , Greg Foat and Mark de Clive-Lowe and newer artists such as Wild Card and Marc Cary amongst a host of others.
Like all my sessions featuring contemporary jazz artists and producers this is about those who are pushing Jazz forward but with a keen eye on the past.
