Mirko Barranca, also known as "BERRY" (class of '88), was born in Rome. As a kid, he started taking his first steps in the industry with home DJs/sets and later pursued his passion by studying a lot and playing in various Roman clubs. Today, he's a tech house and minimal DJ/producer and event organizer. His DJ sets are immersive and unique, as he's also a huge fan of the funky genre.
Simone Russo (class of '92) made a name for himself from a very young age in all the major Roman afternoon clubs. He's a big connoisseur of the house music movement from the disco era and has been the go-to DJ for all disco music events for young people as a resident of Superfreak since 2016. After playing at various clubs, he became a resident at the Sanctuary Eco Retreat, where he shared the console with some of the most famous DJs and experimented with the most sought-after and unique sounds.
During an event, he meets Simone Russo, who immediately clicks with him musically, blending their styles perfectly. That's how the "RUSPBERRIES" duo was born.
