Door No 7 brings a lot of joy to this blog. Familiar faces such as Frederik Knop aka pOnk who I interviewed for my podcast about his EP "Remaking the Past EP" are as much part of it as new faces like the musician and artist collective theclosing from Vienna. In 2004, Daniel Auer, Alexander Hengl, and Lukas Lehner got together and began to put together their unique and beautiful electronic music.
On January 24th 2012, theclosing published their advance EP "the way to M" on the label Circle into Square as a free download. On July 10th their self-titled album was also released. It is available as a stream on their bandcamp-site. Frederik will shortly also release a new EP on Circle into Square. In addition, he just contributed a new track "hokoro" to the CIS-Compilation. In order to shorten the time until these new projects are released, he produced a remix of theclosings "nyejreska" which i have the privilege of offering you as a free download package together with the theclosing's original. A video for the remix will be out soon, too.
