Asphalt Layer is the production name of Manchester based Tommy Harrison. He is a DJ and Producer of dubs, techno, soul, and ambiance, with a string of releases on Odrex, Drift Deeper, Echogarden, Deep Electronics, Axaminer and his own self-released album, Stasis Field. As one half of the DJ project Quadrant Soundscape, he has teamed with Wilson Logan to create deep, ambient and dub-techno mixes using often 6 turntables at a time to create their own, on the fly, samples and edits.
You can catch Quadrant Soundscape on their bi-weekly Dub Explorations Radio Show which broadcasts via Dusk Dubs Radio, of which he is the co-founder and resident DJ.
