It takes a village. How many times have we heard that phrase in our lives? Many ... or at least I have. It comes from the phrase, "it takes a village to raise a child," which originates from an African proverb. While it began with a focus on raising children, and rightfully so because it absolutely does take a village to raise a child, I also think we need a village in life, to make it through the hard times, to learn with, to grow with, to have close relationships with others.
WE
NEED
PEOPLE
I've said it many times and I'll repeat it again because I believe so deeply that it's true, we're not called to walk alone. We NEED others. We need a village.
If this message spoke to you about the need for a village, please reach out to those near you so you have someone to share the load with. Maybe you're afraid to ask someone to help you because you don't want to burden anyone. YOU ARE NOT A BURDEN. Reach out to those near you. I am also a message away. While we may not be in close proximity, I would gladly be a listening ear and a friend to walk this road with you. And if there's something I can help with, I absolutely will!
If you don't have a village, seek one. They would love to have you! You're the missing puzzle piece that they need!
If you have a village, be thankful! I know I am so thankful for mine. Y'all know who you are. ❤️
Let's make sure our village knows that we love them! That we honor them! Let's dive in and walk life closely with them! ❤️ We need them and they need us.
Be blessed friends!
