The hedrush salutes the First Priority Record Label. Throughout the 1980s and '90s this label released more than its fair share of classic hip-hop material. Though it's most known for starting the careers of Audio Two and MC Lyte, the label also produced many other dope MCs and crews.
This episode features music from the First Priority roster, other artists they collaborated with, and even a crew that dissed them. Spider Jerusalem and JB d'Mulatto also discuss the label/artists' legacy and impact.
