Guidelines For Keeping Your Family Safe (CA specific)
If you are a medicinal Cannabis patient and you have children in your home, the following information can help keep your family safe – and in the best possible position – in the unfortunate event Child Protective Services becomes involved:
In General:
Possess or cultivate only as much Cannabis as your medical condition requires.
Keep your medical Cannabis recommendation current and readily available.
Always remember that even though you have a valid medicinal Cannabis recommendation pursuant to California Law, using, possessing, and cultivating Cannabis is illegal under federal law.
Keep all medicinal Cannabis out of plain sight, in clearly marked containers, in a location that is not accessible to your children.
If you cook with medicinal Cannabis, clearly label all food products accordingly and keep them in a separate location from your children’s food where they cannot gain access.
