Our bodies are these wiggly biological organisms, they came from another organism's jism, and while we might see our bodies as a biological prison, without them we'd be in a spiritual schism. For they are the only reason we exist, if we uploaded consciousness would life still persist? Or would we just be a non-feeling clone of ourselves, a cheap imitation with no further to delve.
