Description

Soccer / Football has deep roots in English society, dating back to the Tudor times when people used the bladder of a pig filled with sawdust, in a game played between different villages. The more recent English Football Association was formed in 1863, which aimed to unite and codify the different variants of the game being played in England. Since then, the English Football Association has evolved and developed considerably, along with the game of football itself. In this episode, join our special guest and expert on the Football Association Sam Leigh, as he shares his insight into the history of this interesting organisation.
