Since 1986, the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame has picked the best defensive back in college football as the winner of the Paycom Jim Thorpe award. This year’s winner, Minkah Fitzpatrick from the University of Alabama, lead the Crimson Tide to two different national championships, winning the 2018 game against the Georgia Bulldogs.
