The Bible defines a sharp contrast between a redeemed and transformed mind, and one still stuck in sin and self. Before salvation, we walked in "futility of mind", but after, we are given a new mind. Now, we are called to choose to have our mind "renewed" daily, eradicating anything of our old life, and investing into righteousness.
