The Stooges 1969 debut is ground zero for no less than three rock sub genres and birthed hundreds of bands in its wake. It is to punk what Sabbath's eponymous first record is to metal. Not only are both records endlessly listenable but each have long stood the test of time and also contain two of the greatest songs written by anyone, ever. We finally return to Ann Arbor.
RIP Bob Nalbandian
