He began his journey in the online dating industry by launching Top Romp, a dating publication that provided insight into dating hacks and apps for the modern dater. Later, he launched Hinge's subreddit after selling the blog.

After completing his Masters in Information Management from Syracuse University, he joined Johnson & Johnson as a Product Analyst, where he developed online communities for scientific communities, among other responsibilities. He also founded 18 percent, an online mental health community.

Zach started Filter Off to move beyond surface-level profile swiping and enable more profound connections. The platform has facilitated over 350,000 video speed dates, allowing people to connect authentically. The company has secured a $2.4 million investment in November 2021. Zach is passionate about technology, health, and helping people in creating genuine connections. When he's not working, he loves to travel, listen to his favourite podcasts, and workout.
