In this week's episode, I have Lanie Denslow joining me.

Lanie is the Founder & Principal at World Wise Intercultural Training & Resources, where she works with clients to improve their global business communication skills. She is a leading author, popular speaker, and trusted advisor on how culture shapes business practices and business protocol around the world. She is known for using humor and candor to help others grasp the complexity of today's global business environment. Lanie is co-author of Working with Americans and author of World Wise: What to Know Before You Go (Bloomsbury) both internationally recognized for their practical insights regarding how culture influences business.

She has conducted seminars for global business leaders and organizations in the US, China, Germany, Russia, and England. She also served as the Director of International Affairs for The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM). She was responsible for developing and managing study abroad and exchange programs and creating special training programs for international clients. She is the immediate Past President of Protocol & Diplomacy International, a global organization of protocol professionals. Lanie's work in the area of international trade and diplomacy has been recognized by multiple organizations. She received the Spirit of Diplomacy award from Protocol and Diplomacy International - The Protocol Officers Association and the Special Recognition Award for outstanding contributions to the world trade community from the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce.
