Building healthy boundaries is essential for your own mental and emotional wellbeing, but it can be challenging in high context cultures where indirect communication and interdependence are valued.

Here are some tips to help you build healthy boundaries:

1. Recognize your own boundaries
2. Communicate your boundaries
3. Listen to others
4. Negotiate compromises
5. Practice self-care.

By doing so, you'll build stronger relationships with others, as well as a stronger sense of self-worth and resilience.

In this episode, I share beginnings of my journey of recognizing that I was suffering from burnout, anxiety and lacking joy and happinness despite the many achievements. Setting up healthy boundaries and saying no has had to become part of my every day thought process. Though, it has not been easy as I have lost relationships and suffered painfully from saying no, I am on my way to finding myself again. 

Coming home to myself has been the greatest journey I've ever taken. It's a process of self-discovery, self-improvement, and self-love. I'm learning to embrace my flaws, accept my mistakes and trust my journey. It's a beautiful feeling to be true to yourself and living life on your own terms.
