Welcome to episode four of I'm still standing, a podcast about trauma, in this episode I talk to comedian Nell Sparrow. We are talking about our own trauma so we can be flippant but hey we went through it, we get to talk about it however we like! Having said that we are discussing mental health issues, rape, and abuse in relationships – I think if this is something you don't want to hear about you should listen to another episode. I believe we approach it in a tactful way and are still able to have a light-hearted chat about heavy shit. We don't go into graphic detail but maybe this is something you don't want to hear, throughout the series we discuss a wide range of traumas so stay tuned for other subjects.
Nell is a comedian, writer and silversmith from East London, she describes her comedy as 'attack of the 50ft woman' but with funkier hair and more jokes about sex. She spends most of her time reading, writing about life and making jewellery. Check her out on instagram.com/ms_dustybun/
