Hello and welcome to episode seven of I'm still standing, the episode I talk with the talented Aimee Cooper. I met Aimee around a year ago on the circuit and saw her do her character Jemima – she killed it and I was hooked, she is such a positive energy and I could talk to her forever. Aimee is hilarious and open and we talk A LOT! We do approach things in the trademark light-hearted manner but we do cover some very heavy subjects such as rape, race and (as usual) mental health – if any of this is triggering for you, don't worry there are her episodes, trauma for all occasions!

Aimee is a comedian, actor, singer, podcast host and mother, she has performed at Glastonbury and Lovebox festivals and Edinburgh and Brighton fringes. As well as (in her own words) some cringe worthy stuff from the 90's – her showreel was on VHS and she touted it around London and Manchester to little success, which I don't believe! Her recent work consists of online parody sketches and she has been a regular on the cabaret/variety open mic circuit with her character Jemima 'come on you bummers' check her out on insta instagram.com/aimeecooperforms
