Creepshow marks the collaboration between two horror greats- Stephen King and George Romero- and is filled with quotable moments, kitsch visuals and seriously good gore effects. But it lost something with each successive sequel, including its key creatives. In this deep dive, I look back on what made the original film so special, and why its sequels failed to pass muster.
