We often attempt to shrink God down to a principle or formula—something that promises predictable outcomes and gives us a sense of control. But true faith isn't about control—it's about trust in the unknown. Genuine obedience isn't driven by obligation but by love. When we separate obedience from love, we risk becoming like the older brother in the parable of the prodigal son—outwardly righteous yet inwardly distant from the Father's heart.
In this episode, Whit and Casey explore Matthew 7, the dangers of legalism and antinomianism, and how to embrace the mystery of our faith.
