Ammar Mirza CBE is a serial entrepreneur with interests and investments across a number of sectors. Over a 15 year period he has helped establish several hundred new businesses within the North East. As chairman and founder of Asian Business Connexions, a not-for-profit social enterprise that aims to connect, support and promote the Asian wider community, Ammar has helped make a significant social and economic impact across the Globe.
He is the Founder of the charity - The PIE Project - Primary Inspiration through Enterprise. Whose mission is to build effective business education links to support the development of young people and strengthen communities. He launched the Primary to Prosperity campaign in 2018 giving people the mindset that we can achieve anything.
Amongst a load of other things, he is on the The Business Support Board with the North East LEP, a visiting professor of innovation and enterprise for Newcastle University Business School and he hosts a Business Show every Friday morning on Spice FM.
