Hello again and welcome back to another episode!

So glad as always to have you here for an episode that I believe is crucial to any form of growth and development.

Self-Reflection. Or what I like to call it, "The Internal Mirror".

Self-reflection is known to have a plethora of benefits, but so few of us actually take a moment to do so. Taking that moment to pause and take a second to look inwardly and discuss what's been going on in there.

I say this all the time, we are saturated with so many distractions in life that rob us from taking that sacred time and cherishing it.

Not only can distractions halt us from making the time to self-reflect, but our fears can too. It is understandable, and trust me I've been there and still to this day find myself afraid to go deep. But I believe self-reflection is essential for that internal harmony to be possible.

I've learned to understand myself more and more as I self-reflect. And  the more I have this internal discussion with myself, the stronger my self-love grows and the more I'm able to understand myself. This crucial information is how I believe, we can become the individuals we want to be and feel confident about that.

There are so many ways to self-reflect. It can be done by:

Meditation

Self-Talk

Mindless task such as taking a walk or going for a bike ride.

 And lastly Journaling

As you guys know, one of my favorite exercises is the Morning Pages, taught by Julia Cameron from her book "The Artist Way", Which is a Journal Entry in the morning of writing down whatever comes to mind, even with no direction for 3 pages straight. This exercise has brought so much self-reflection and I feel so much closer to myself due to this exercise.

But today's episode I want to do things a little differently. I was gifted a really awesome Self-Reflection Kit from a friend of mine and its from a company called We're Not Really Strangers. This Self-reflection kit In my opinion is absolutely amazing. The kit includes a journal notebook, a pen, and a deck of cards. Each card in the deck has questions that you would answer in your journal. These are thought provoking questions that bridge that connection to that internal world.

In this episode I pulled 3 questions from the deck of cards. By doing things differently, as these questions are asked, pause for a moment and answer these questions truthfully and honestly. After I ask these questions, I provide a provisioned version of my own answer, to one, help give you guidance in what your answers may be, and two, to show you that I'm human just like you!

I really hope you enjoy this episode. I believe it is a great episode to open your eyes to the endless opportunities of gaining a closer connection to your true self by self-reflecting.
