Description

Females are the minority in entrepreneurship. Black and brown females are even a smaller percentage of that minority. It could be easy to shrink back in our goals because of intimidation or even our own self-doubt. How do we push past resistance and step into who we are called to be?

I had the honor of connecting with Sydney Nanberg the founder of She Did It, an organization dedicated to empowering women to practice self-care and step into their full potential. After experiencing bullying as a young child, Sydyney became passionate about helping others overcome limiting beliefs and become more confident in their pursuits.

In today’s episode Sydney shares with us how volunteering for things that scared her and starting her own marketing company prepared her for leading this organization and using her voice despite feelings of fear and self-sabotage. She talks with us about the power of our mindset and how setting up routines and rituals in our lives can set us up for success.

We also dig into the practical side of entrepreneurship and how we can prepare ourselves properly as a business owner and not become overwhelmed.  Sydney also gives valuable advice on when you can know if you are ready to quit your job and how we can be more financially responsible.

As Sydney says, at the end of the day it is our mindset that determines who we become. We hope this episode empowers you to step into the right mindset and be the kind of entrepreneur you know you can be.
