Vernetta is a Jacksonville native and the founder of Footprints of Angels, a nonprofit organization supporting women impacted by recurrent miscarriages and infertility. In addition to running a nonprofit, Vernetta also owns her own culinary business, serves as the Chef and Culinary Director at The Ronald McDonald House and volunteers with Feeding Northeast Florida.
