Coaching someone into a goal – be it business related, nutrition related, or fitness related – is a skill developed with practice. It's understandable that your client will want to be led and be told what to do…but it's important for every coach to make it their goal to guide their clients to being self-sufficient. After all, that is the essence of coaching. In this episode, Jill talks about the difference between independence and dependence driven coaching.
