God has very loving and grace-filled responses when we are:

• silently self-critical,
• live driven instead of called,
• love formulas, metrics, and best practices,
• glorify self-sufficiency,
• and believe our self-worth is tied up in what we do, how much we do, and how we do it all-by-ourselves.
