Ask Matthew Jenkins Jaroszewicz, artistic director of a scrappy new company.
Apotheosis Opera company launches with its production Richard Wagner’s “Tannhauser.”
“There are a lot of start-up opera companies out there. We wanted to launch with something grand,” Jaroszewicz tells “The Joe D Show. “Go big or go home.”
He also tells how Yaptracker.com was key in casting this production.
The production runs July 31 and Aug. 2 at El Museo del Barrio (1230 Fifth Ave.)
