From Roller Derby, to being featured on the Corn Flakes box, to founding women's track programs at two NCAA Division I schools, to becoming the first African American and first Woman Assistant Commissioner of the Atlantic Coast Conference, Dee smashed barriers and was instrumental in bringing about much of the equity we take for granted in modern college sports.
