Diversity should be a business imperative because it impacts the bottom line. Organisations tend to see it though as a task to be completed. However, diversity extends beyond being just a checkbox, instead, it is an ongoing process within a company. If businesses understand the whole area of diversity, they benefit by having more productive staff and lower employee turnover.

In today's podcast, Jackie Ferguson, the Director of Multicultural Programming at Walk West, joins us to talk about the impact and value of diversity. Jackie is a certified diversity expert and she gives us advice on how to convince management to implement change in an organisation. She also talks about the behaviours and biases displayed by people.
