It was an unexpected pause that was the result of my laptop taking a fall, which ultimately corrupted its hard drive.
Even though it was a material item and a small setback to my work load, it also gave me an opportunity to reflect on how we take so many things for granted in our lives. Whether a material item or even more importantly, an another human, we shouldn't ever take anything for granted.
