<3 This Week on Magic Portals we hear from Garbage. Garbage is an American alternative rock band formed in Madison, Wisconsin, in 1993. The group consists of American musicians Duke Erikson (bass, rhythm guitar, keyboards), Steve Marker (lead guitar), and Butch Vig (drums) and Scottish musician Shirley Manson (vocals). All four members are involved in songwriting and production.
The second half of the show will focus on a soundtrack from the iconic 90s film Jawbreaker, released in 1999. Jawbreaker is an American black comedy film written and directed by Darren Stein. The film stars Rose McGowan, Rebecca Gayheart, Julie Benz, and Judy Greer as girls in an exclusive clique in their high school.
