Andrea, Sarah and Clayton
With Michelle under the weather, Clayton took over the reigns of Stand Up Straight for a discussion of queer movies and TV. Joined in the studio by JOY wonder women Andrea from Little Pod Of JOY and Sarah Narres, an LGBTI movie buff and ally. The trio discussed and reviewed a range of film and television programs.
Prison dramas were a focus, looking at the queer aspects of Orange is the New Black, Wentworth and OZ. Other media examined includes the new Sense8 as well as various Russell T Davies shows, including Wizards vs Aliens, Queer as Folk and Torchwood/Doctor Who, the now 21 Priscilla, Drunktown’s Finest, Beautiful Thing of both stage and screen plus more.
