In the first of a series of four shows. focusing on long term relationships within the LGBTI community, Michelle and co-host Stephanie welcomed Eric and Athol. The couple met in 1978, a time when:

• Malcolm Fraser was Prime Minister
• Smoking was allowed EVERYWHERE
• David Bowie was in Australia for the first time
• Elton John was still straight
• The West Gate Bridge had just opened
• Homosexuality was illegal and gay conversion therapy was in it’s prime.

The couple chatted about their experience, joys and challenges that come from being together for so long.
