This week our voice of Reason, Fiona Patten, proposed a bill to extend Victoria’s anti-vilification laws to include hate speech based on gender, as well as disability, sexual orientation, gender identity and sex characteristics.
On Tuesday she stood with her crossbench colleagues in support of salvaging 800-year-old Djap Wurrung trees, that are due to be bulldozed as part of the duplication project of the Western Highway.
