This week under the theme of LET’S ‘REMEMBER we focus on 2 wonderful and different entertainers, Sarah Vaughan (SV) and David Essex (DE). Sarah Vaughan affectionately known as the “Divine One” was an American jazz singer who has been described as having one of the most wondrous voices of the 20th century. She was nominated 9 times and won 2 Grammys. She is remembered annually on March 27th as the Sarah Lois Vaughan day. And David Essex, an actor, singer and songwriter, is a major figure in British pop culture. His history, filled with hit records, movie roles and stage performances reflects the kind of versatility that few artists manage to sustain across generations. In addition, he had 19 Top 40 singles and 16 Top 40 albums 1973 – 1994.
