Often, we reach for something like food, a friend, a text to the ex (!) to cover up what we're avoiding in ourselves. These are not inherently "bad' things to do - we're human, we thrive on connection and community. But most of the time, we reach for those things before we've sat with ourselves and done the inner work around whatever is coming up for us.
Julianne explains that most of the time, we have the ability to self process, self regulate, and self manage. What if we filled our lives with pleasure ourselves? What if we had pleasure first? What if we were to take pleasure breaks during the day? Today, we're welcoming that shift.
