So what do you say? Let’s get ready and jump. Welcome to another episode of Bella in Your Business. This is going to be a short, quick, and dirty episode. In fact, this episode is going to be a gift to you. I want you all to know something that is going to help you hire because I’m continuing on this whole hiring trend right now. And I know that right now, as I record this in April of 2021, the job market is very volatile. We have a lot of people sitting on unemployment right now who are making more money than they would if they actually went to work—more money than a minimum wage job. So understandably, they’re sitting there. Honestly, that’s a whole other story, but it kind of tells you a lot about the people.
In addition, we need to find workers, and we are not the only industry that is struggling. The service industry is struggling majorly in general—a lot of the restaurants, the hotels, all of that. We are not selling widgets. We are not just another serving job. We are dealing with adorable puppies and kitties and dogs and cats and reptiles and goats—well, maybe not goats—but horses and all sorts of things, right? We actually get to do a really fun, loving, nurturing, empathetic job. And with that comes finding the right person.
