Yuki is a member of the Zonta Club Hamburg. The half Japanese, half German mother of three is an amazing role model for combining job and family. As a psychologist she spent fifteen years in the industry as a leader in HR. Since 2014 she has been running her own business as well as her praxis for psychotherapy. “Good enough motherhood” instead of being perfect is Yuki’s credo. ... and being a mother is just one of her identities :-).
Yuki is a great networker and matchmaker. In Hamburg she established a crossmentoring project to connect refugees and key player from Hamburg. This network of unlikely allies is a real treasure for individual members as well as for society.
With the Zonta cross-mentoring program, the project team Yuki, Franziska, Carola, Dipisha, Mary Ann and Phillippa - representing 4 continents - tries to use the global Zonta network to organize cross-continental relationships. The goal of the program is to match young Zontians with experienced Zontians in order to create mutual learning dyads and in the best case to establish friendships for a lifetime.
