Description

"A young woman to look up to." That perfectly describes today’s guest, Paulina Maria Venezia Molteni. At just 20 years old, Paulina is already deeply involved in a variety of organisations and has launched several of her own projects. It’s no surprise that she has recently won the prestigious Young Women in Public Leadership Award at the regional, district, and international level! The award issued by Zonta International, recognizes young women aged 16 to 19 who demonstrate leadership, dedication to public service and a passion for creating positive change in their communities. In the podcast Paulina shares what the award means to her and emphasises how grateful she is for the chance to demonstrate how much you can do while "just being a student".

She is an active volunteer with several environmental and human rights organisations, including Fridays for Future and International Justice Mission (IJM). Among her many achievements, she staged a play about femicides, organised a queer art exhibition to support emerging queer artists and advocates for women and people of colour in STEM fields.

Stay tuned to learn more about Paulina’s inspiring projects and her future plans. For young women eager to make a difference, the next application deadline is 31 January 2025. Don’t miss the chance to apply and be part of this empowering initiative!
