Wouldn't you like to stop negative thinking? I know it's unpredictable and hard to control the thoughts that pop into our head. It's easy for people to say, "think positive" don't be a negative Nancy, do your affirmations and all will be well…. No one said ever! Then you feel bad for thinking negatively and the vicious circle continues. I believe it's more than negative thinking, it's a daily story you identify with. When I was little they diagnosed me with multiple learning disabilities 🙄and I created a story about how I was stupid & incapable I was until about 21. I believed and identified so deeply with this story my entire life was a reflection of this one story. It took many years to deconstruct that story through rewriting my own. Not what a test or teacher said about me. And definitely not just sitting in a room thinking thoughts like, "I am smart." When you don't identify as smart person there is a gap, it's as if you are speaking another language. Your brain and body doesn't register it. What's the secret?
