Word of the year has been one of my favorite reflection and personal growth practices since I learned about it in coach training over 12 years ago, and I've done it almost every year since.
My words have shaped my growth, leadership, and even my business and this podcast. Unapologetic was my word the year we launched ONE Question: Unapologetic Questions for Unapologetic Results, and this practice continues to influence how I think, teach, and coach.
As part of this practice, I always take time to review my word and how it challenged me, what it taught me, and where it stretched me before deciding on my focus and goals for the year ahead.
