From Fede Álvarez comes the 2013 remake of Sam Raimi's 1981 classic, The Evil Dead!
This time around, there is no Bruce Campbell to be found, nor the franchise's trademark humor. Instead, you've got a straight ahead, take no prisoners violent exploitation on the eyes and ears, and the audience is all the better for it.
While Bruce is absent on screen, he and Raimi are behind the camera as producers. But, they let Álvarez do what he wants to do, and it shows.
The cast is STACKED with the likes of Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Lou Taylor Pucci, Jessica Lewis, and Elizabeth Blackmore.
